Clearing the Smoke: Marijuana and Virginia’s Public Sector Workplace

A Virtual Seminar

Since July 1, 2021, and the legalization of recreational marijuana in Virginia, localities and public agencies have raised numerous questions about their policies for a drug free workplace.  HR leaders will benefit from this presentation presented by Sands Anderson attorneys Faith Alejandro and Patrick Callahan, who will review the changing legal landscape for marijuana and cannabis oil, and best practices for the workplace including background checks, drug testing, accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, employee privacy concerns, collective bargaining, and more!

Registration is FREE for IPMA-VA Members and only $20.00 for non-members.
